Let me just give you a quick background... So where is Silliman University located and when was it founded?

It's a prestigious international university with a 62-hectare campus located at the heart of Dumaguete City, Philippines.

Silliman Institute was established On August 28, 1901 by Missionaries, Dr. David Sutherland Hibbard and his wife, Laura. Although, Dr. Horace B. Silliman, a retired businessman of the town of Cohoes in New York State, was the one who paved the way for the establishment of the institute...

If you're not from Dumaguete City or haven't been into the city, either a tourist, local, student or not, this video will show you and will give you an idea what's really inside Silliman University's main campus.

So what's inside the main campus? Check the video!

IMO: The Campus has more rented houses and/or apartments, dormitories than school buildings. More like a compound with a private school.

Road Trip: White Chocolate Hills Resort in Zamboanguita, Negros Oriental

White Chocolate Hills: Road trip to Zamboanguita's newest resort!

We were on a road trip going to White Chocolate Hills Resort in Magallanes Street Zamboanguita Negros Oriental Philippines.

Recently, the road condition was amazing, no road repairs except on the bridge of the outskirt of Zamboanguita. It's currently a one way road, so expect a slight traffic specially during night travels.

In this video, you can actually see the Austrian owner and the resort’s entrance surprising there’s no parking space for customers!



The White Chocolate Hills resort is pass over the public market of Zamboanguita. The nearest landmark is a Petron gasoline station, the signboard is actually too small to be noticed, so there's a bigger chances that you'll pass by the entry road if you go their for the first time.

Take note: Several local residents doesn't have any idea yet where the resort is because it's a new one. Enjoy going there!
